Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's largest financial successes, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
